We had a blast performing at the Temecula Summer Sunset Concert series on July 7th. We are so grateful to the many friends and family who showed up and the many new fans we now have. Seeing everyone having so much fun dancing and clapping is what makes this all worth it. During the song We Belong we brought up a group of kids to help us sing and they did a great job. Check out the Temecula Valley News article with pictures of the event.
With Debbie's Pat like vocals and Mike's screaming guitar they are as comfortable
on stage together as the couple they portray. For years they've talked about starting a tribute band but hadn't settled on a band. Then they realized one day
how many similarities they have with "the Giraldos" and it was decided. They knew to do this right would require finding someone who can cover the mezzo-soprano backup vocals that Pat is known for. Enter Danielle Ellingson. Cassically trained Danielle helps bring an authentic sound to the songs. Her soaring harmonies are a perfect blend with Debbie's hard driving vocals. Covering the keyboards is Danielle's husband Paul Ellingson, also classically trained and looking remarkably like Pat and Neil's original keyboardists, Charlie Giordano. Together Paul and Danielle provide a level of musicianship that is stellar. The search for a drummer who could bring the same energy and enthusiasm as longtime drummer Myron Grombacher ended with Guy Maturo. Listen to Guy's powerhouse rhythms on songs like Heartbreaker and Promises in the Dark. Guy's custom drum set, which includes a gong (like Myron), brings a big concert feel to any stage. Rounding out the bottom end is David Brockenborough on bass guitar. His infectious smile, reminiscent of Pat Benatar's original bass player Roger Capps, and full sound help make it all come together on stage.
We Belong brings to life something only a husband and wife, who have shared countless hours on stage and helped each other juggle home and stage life, can do. This is where We Belong!
A Tribute to Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo
We Belong celebrates Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo. As a power duo that began in 1979 it's a deserving tribute to a couple that continues to pack venues now into their 60's. With their breakout hit Heartbreaker Pat and Neil showed the world that females can rock with the best of them. Pat and Neil made musical history by being the first female and guitarist ,respectively, to appear on MTV inspiring many young singers and musicians to pickup a microphone or guitar and put on their rock face. Now on tour celebrating 35+ years of hit songs Pat and Neil can still rock.
We Belong brings you those same hit songs in a uniquely similar package.

I know that you and your band members put great effort into your performance and worked hard with our sound company to get the best sound. I’ve started to receive feedback from the attendees, and the music is getting rave reviews. We will definitely keep you in mind for future performances.
Have a great summer.

" To anyone who has not seen "We Belong" live , take the time to see them if you can . You will be glad you did ! Also , if you're a Pat Benatar/Neil Giraldo fan , when you go , close your eyes for a minute or two , and see if you're "surprised" when it isn't them on stage when you open them . Great Band , Good Vibes and wonderful people as well ......................... "
